Christmas Food Vouchers for qualified veterans

COSHOCTON – The Coshocton County Veterans Service Office will be issuing Christmas Food Vouchers to qualified veterans of Coshocton County.

Vouchers will be handed out to the veteran only from 8 a.m.-4 p.m., Monday, December 9th, through Friday, December 13th.

Vouchers will be issued on a first-come basis as there is a limited number available and will be issued only after proof of residency and DD-214/VA card is presented. There is a limit of one voucher per household.

Veterans must show:

  • Coshocton County residency and DD 214/VA card or Active Duty Military ID
  • Proof of Income
  • Marriage and Birth Certificates, if applicable

Vouchers will be issued in the amount of $50.00 veterans have a choice between Baker’s, Buehler’s Market, Aldi’s or Collins’ and may be used for food items only. A list of items not permitted will be issued with each voucher.

Monthly income requirements for eligibility are as follows:

(These figures are based upon 150 percent of the 2013 Federal Poverty Guidelines)
