Clarence Fisher

Clarence Edward Fisher, 67, died peacefully at home on Wednesday, March 18, 2020 after a strong fight against an illness.

Born December 1, 1952 in Marion, he was the son of Rolland and Eleanor (Howard) Fisher. They raised him in Paulding County, where he graduated in 1972 from Wayne Trace High School. He served his nation from 1972 to 1976 in the United States Marine Corps, stationed in Camp Pendleton, California. He earned the rank of sergeant before his honorable discharge. Clarence worked at Fulton Kiln Controls in Orange County, California until 1980, when he and his young family moved to Harrisburg, Pennsylvania. He worked as a courier and truck driver for FedEx from 1981 to 1994.

He was a wonderful storyteller, a man of faith, and a student of history. He enjoyed working hard, listening to Johnny Cash and Elvis Presley, traveling and spending time with family. He will be deeply missed.

He is survived by his wife, Teresa (Rogers) Fisher of Galion. They were married in 2008. He is also survived by three loving children: Serena (Michael) Fedor of Enola, PA, Clayton Fisher, and Sarah Fisher both of Carlisle, PA; two loving step children: Ryan (Sarah) Daum of Marion, and Amber Daum of Hilliard; five grandchildren: Jackson, Parker, and Luke Fedor and Reece and Raleigh Daum. He was close with his twin brother, Cecil (Amy) Johnson and his family of Dauphin, PA. Also surviving are his sisters, Diane Davison of Columbus, Rhonda (Bill) Wilson, Betty Lou Stump, and Connie (Bob) Blevins, all of Marion; his father-in-law, Paul Rogers of Coshocton; as well as many nieces and nephews.

In addition to  his adoptive parents, he is preceded in death by his biological parents, Cecil and Alice (Patton) Johnson; two sisters, Mary Jane Quinsberry and Charlene Tanner; and a brother, Terry Johnson.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, March 21, 2020 at the Prairie Chapel United Methodist Church, 45494 CR 23 Coshocton, OH 43812, with Rev. Dail Parrish officiating. Military Rites will be performed by the Coshocton Co. Joint Veterans Council Honor Guard.
