Clint Allen Roberts, 40, passed away Saturday, Jan. 23, 2021 at the Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center in Columbus.

He was born April 28, 1980 in Belleville, IL to George Roberts and Susie Smailes. He was a 1999 graduate of River View High School, and worked at Ariel Corporation in Mt. Vernon.

Clint was a member of the Mt. Zion Masonic Lodge #9 in Mt. Vernon. He was well known for his desire to help others in need, friends & strangers alike. He loved guns, archery, hunting, camping, and anything involving the outdoors.

He is survived by his wife of twelve years, Sarah (Holpp) Roberts of Bladensburg, whom he married Sept. 20, 2008; his daughter, Ashlynn Roberts of the home; his father George (Debbie) Roberts of Fallsburg; his mother Susie Smailes of Coshocton; his grandma Nancy Billman of Fallsburg; his sister, Amanda Roberts of Warsaw; multiple aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, & cousins; and his mother-in-law, Jane Anderson of Loudonville.

He is preceded in death by grandparents, Jim & Donna Roberts, Leonard & Dorothy Smailes, and Harold Billman; and his father-in-law, Daniel Holpp.

Visitation for Clint will be held at the Coshocton Christian Tabernacle, 23891 Airport Rd. Coshocton, OH 43812 on Tuesday, Jan. 26th from 6 to 9 p.m. A funeral service will take place at the church on Wednesday, Jan. 27th at 11:00 a.m., with Pastors Dave Helser & Bob Davis officiating. For the health and safety of family, friends, and guests, face masks are encouraged. The Fischer Funeral Home in Warsaw is handling arrangements.

Memorial contributions towards his daughter Ashlynn Roberts college education may be directed to a fund for her at Woodforest National Bank, 23605 Airport Rd. Coshocton, OH 43812.
