Come explore a universe of plants at Clary Gardens

| May 15, 2019

COSHOCTON – Looking for fun, educational summer activities? You’re in luck! This summer, Clary Gardens are teaming up with the Coshocton Public Library System, Johnson-Humrickhouse Museum, Historic Roscoe Village, and Pomerene Center for the Arts to create an exciting summer full of programming. Your child will receive a stamp card. At each program, they will get a stamp, and after 10 stamps, they get free entry to the Lake Park Aquatic Center.

On Tuesdays, from May 28 – July 16, 10 – 11 a.m., come to Clary Gardens and learn about the relationship living things have with their physical surroundings. Each week will have a new and exciting theme and will feature a hands-on outdoor experience, such as looking for creatures in the stream or catching frogs!

The themes are as follows: May 28: Seeds; June 4: Rocks; June 11: Worms; June 25: Butterflies; July 2: Bees; July 9: Frogs; July 16: Birds

This program is for children ages 3-12. Thanks to the Coshocton Kiwanis Club, Clary Gardens is able to provide two different age groups this year, expanding the amount of kids enrolled from 20 to 30! One group is for ages 3 – 6 and the other is for ages 7 – 12. The program is $2 per child per week. Please RSVP at events@clarygardens.org as space is limited! Check out their Facebook for details on the upcoming themes for Universe of Plants! Please wear clothes you don’t mind getting dirty and wet in! We will be outside rain or shine!
