Coshocton Community Choir to perform in Newcomerstown
COSHOCTON – The Coshocton Community Choir will sing selections from the “Love’s Pure Light” Christmas concert at 7 p.m., Sunday, Dec. 10 at St. Paul Lutheran Church, 121 S. College Street Newcomerstown.
The 100-voice adult choir, conducted by Charles R. Snyder, will perform a mix of choral music accompanied by Alice M. Hoover on St. Paul’s 22-rank Bunn Minnick pipe organ, and by Dickie R. Barrick on the grand piano. The audience will be invited to join the choir on several carols including: “Hark! the Herald Angels Sing,” “Silent Night,” and “Joy to the World.”
The music is interwoven with inspirational narration written by the Reverend Richard Hoover, and read by Marialice Mauch and Gordon A. Kendall. Join the Coshocton Community Choir as we celebrate the arrival of love’s pure light, and leave with renewed hope.
The church is handicapped-accessible. There are no tickets, but an offering will be received to help support the choir’s ministry.
