| June 26, 2018

COSHOCTON – The Coshocton Footlight Players will host the Southeast Region Ohio Community Theater Association’s competition event on Saturday, June 30, at the Triple Locks Theater, located in historic Roscoe Village at 685 N. Whitewoman St.

Registration is open to the public and begins at 9 a.m. The $15 registration fee includes a continental breakfast and admission to the competition showcase of two excerpts from the current theater season.

In keeping with the state’s Rock and Roll theme, this, “Coshocton Rocks,” event showcases excerpts from, “The Savannah Sipping Society,” from the Footlight Players, and, “Cat on a Hot Tin Roof,” from Little Theater of Tuscarawas County. The top scoring excerpt will then proceed to the state level and will perform at the OCTA conference in Columbus over the Labor Day weekend.

In addition to viewing the excerpts, participants will have the opportunity to hear feedback and review by trained responders.

Lunch, in addition to OCTA and theater merchandise, as well as basket raffle tickets, will be available for purchase.
