Coshocton Public Library introduces Lynda.com

COSHOCTON – The Coshocton Public Library is offering free training sessions for teens and adults to learn more about Lynda.com, a new online database providing access to thousands of expert-led courses on business, tech and creative topics for all skill levels.  On Wednesday, Oct. 17, and again on Oct. 24, from 6 – 6:30 p.m. and from 7 – 7:30 p.m., Megan Baughman, digital technology educator, will offer registrants hands-on assistance with logging into and navigating Lynda.com. Each session can accommodate up to 10 people and group registration is welcome. All attendees are asked to come prepared with an email address and their Coshocton Library card and pin number. The library staff can assist anyone who is in need of a library card or an email.

Lynda.com is available to all Ohio public library card holders. Now a part of Linkedin, Lynda.com is made available to public libraries by the Ohio Public Library Information Network (OPLIN) via Ohio Web Library. Lynda.com is a leading online learning platform that helps anyone learn business, software, technology and creative skills to achieve personal and professional goals. Users have access to the Lynda.com video library of engaging, top-quality courses taught by recognized industry experts.
