Dale Walden Norris

Dale Walden Norris, 90, of Coshocton passed away Saturday, May 1, 2021, at Lafayette Pointe Nursing and Rehabilitation in West Lafayette. He was born in Conesville, Ohio on July 9, 1930, to the late Otto and Olive (Fountain) Norris and graduated from Conesville High School in 1948. Mr. Norris served in the United States Navy from 1948 – 1952 and was a welder for Columbia Gas prior to serving as an Ohio State Highway Patrolman. Dale worked as a Control Room Operator for Columbus and Southern Electric at the Conesville Plant for 13 years before moving to Farmington, NM where he retired from Arizona Power at the Four Corners Electric Plant.

Dale married Vesta (Adkins) Norris on July 13, 1952, at Calvary Methodist Church in Coshocton. He leaves behind his wife of 68 years; five children, Steven Norris of Coshocton, Rebecca Norris of Coshocton, Dan (Susan) Norris of Milton, WV, Lisa (Phillip) Moeller Abilene, TX, and Edwin Norris of Roscoe, IL; 10 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Mr. Norris was a member of the Norwich, Ohio Masonic Lodge and a member of the Park/Grace United Methodist Church.

Along with his parents he is preceded in death by his three brothers, Vincent, Arthur, and Jerry Norris.

The family would like to thank the Community Hospice for all of their kindness and care over the past few months, they are greatly appreciated.

Private burial will take place at Franklin Grange Cemetery. The family is being attended to by the Miller Funeral Home, Coshocton and Pastor Bill Dunfee. An online memorial is located at www.themillerfuneralhome.com.
