Ford DavidDavid E. Ford, 56, of Coshocton went to be with his Lord and his devoted wife Christine at 2:11 P.M., Saturday, December 29, 2012 at Genesis – Good Samaritan Hospital in Zanesville.

Born June 12, 1956 in Coshocton, he was the son of the late Daniel William and Audrey Ellen (Franklin) Ford, Sr.

A 1974 graduate of RiverView High School, Dave spent many years in ministry. He had a vast array of entrepreneurial opportunities starting in cable construction for over 20 years and later in Amish furniture manufacturing and design.

On September 6, 1975 he married Christine Lynn Hendricks who preceded him in death 17 days prior on December 12, 2012.

He will be missed by his loving family members two daughters Kendra (Eric) McEvoy of Coshocton, Cassie (Benjamin) Spain of Angier, NC; six grandchildren Zackery, Lukas, Ava, Maia, Jerison, Rowen; sister Patricia K. Moody of  Prescott, AZ; six brothers John Ford of Slovan, PA, Daniel (Marilyn) Ford, Jr. of Coshocton, Clyde (Windy) Ford of Newcomerstown, Frank Ford of Warsaw, Raymond (Darlene) Ford of Spartanburg, SC, Jim Ford of Bennington, IN; several nieces, nephews, and a host of friends.

In addition to his wife and parents, David was preceded in death by a sister Penny Pauline Ford, and a brother William Ford.

A Celebration of his Life will be held at 11:00 A.M. Thursday, January 3, 2013 at the Free Funeral Home, Coshocton with Pastor Jason  Diaz officiating.  Interment will follow at South Lawn Cemetery. 

Calling hours will be held from 5:00 to 8:00 P.M., Wednesday, January 2, 2013, and from 10 to 11:00 A.M. prior to the celebration on Thursday.

In lieu of flowers, memoriums may be made to the David Ford Memorial Fund, P. O. Box 961, Coshocton, OH 43812. Envelopes are available at the Free Funeral Home.
