Dewey Todd PictureDewey E. Todd, 85, of West Lafayette passed away at Union Hospital in Dover on Tuesday January 6, 2014. Dewey was born in Coshocton on August 5, 1929 to the late Verl and Inez (Kutcher) Todd. He graduated from Fresno High School and Ohio University. He served in the United States Army during the Korean Conflict and was a Math Teacher and coach in Warsaw, Plainfield, Cambridge and Fresno. Dewey was a member of the Fresno United Methodist Church for 73 years, Ohio Retired Teacher Association, Coshocton County Retired Teachers, Moose, American Legion, AMVETS and Big Buck Club. Dewey enjoyed golfing, bowling, hunting and baseball. He is survived by his wife Marilyn (Mikesell) Todd who he married May 8, 1954; three sons Alan Todd of Coshocton, Gary Todd of Coshocton and Dennis Todd of New Milford, CT; one daughter Linda (Jim) Mendenhall of Canton; six grandchildren; four great grandchildren; one brother Don (Carole) Todd of Coshocton. Friends may call at The Miller Funeral Home on Thursday January 8, 2015 from 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM. Funeral services will be held at the funeral home on Friday at 11:00 AM with Pastor Kathy Powers officiating. Interment will follow in Fairfield Cemetery, West Lafayette where Coshocton County Veterans Honor Guard will perform military honors.
