Donald Henry Lauvray

Donald Henry Lauvray, 83, of Coshocton passed away surrounded by his loving family on Tuesday, July 20, 2021 at his home. He was born in Coshocton, on Oct. 26, 1937 to the late Vincent F. and Laura E. (Hiser) Lauvray.

Donald was a high School graduate of Sacred Heart in 1955 and had previously worked for Pretty Products for 19 years, farmed for 10-15 years and most recently enjoyed woodworking. He was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Knights of Columbus, and Coshocton Sportsman’s Club. He loved woodworking, putting puzzles together, collecting coins, and spending time with his grandchildren and great-grandson.

Donald is survived by his wife of 64 years, Shirley (Murray) Lauvray; children, Lynn Lauvray of Coshocton and Steven (Ann) Lauvray of Fresno; grandchildren, Matthew Lauvray and Kayla (Jordan) Marcincavage; great-grandson, Tanner Marcincavage; brother, David (Ina) Lauvray; sister, Jean Raber; grand pups, Jack and Bruno; and several nieces and nephews.

Along with his parents he is preceded in death by his brother, James (Marilyn) Lauvray; sister, Barbara Lauvray; and brother-in-law, Noah Raber.

Friends may call at The Miller Funeral Home, 639 Main St., Coshocton on Monday, July 26, 2021 from 5-7 p.m. a wake service will begin at 7 p.m. with Deacon Doug Mould.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 805 Main St., Coshocton on Tuesday, July 27, at 10:30 a.m. with Father Tom Gardner officiating.  Interment will follow in Coshocton County Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be directed toward Sacred Heart Catholic Church; envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
