Dorothy M. Lee

COSHOCTON – Dorothy Marie (Summers) Lee, 87, died Wednesday, March 21, 2017 at Coshocton Springs Health and Rehabilitation Center.

She was born Dec. 21, 1929 in Cleveland to the late Dewford and Mary Frances (Birch) Summers.  She was a 1937 graduate of Warsaw High School, and she married Eugene Hosfelt in Feb. of 1950, who preceded her in death in Oct. 1963.

Dorothy was the part-owner and manager of Ravenswood Apartments in Warsaw.  She was involved in many various civic groups and activities, and she enjoyed pulling ponies, show horses and cattle.

She is survived by a daughter, Debbie (David) Furnis of Coshocton; a son, Richard (Marcia) Hosfelt of Coshocton; four grandchildren, Jason (Sherry) Mikesell, Laura (Duane) Miller, Nicole (Andrew) Hopkins, and Eugene (Ashley Mason) Hosfelt; four great-grandchildren; and a special friend, Gary DeMoss of Warsaw.

In addition to her parents and first husband, she is preceded in death by her former husband, Edwin Lee.

A private entombment will take place at Prairie Chapel Cemetery, with Pastor Ron Davis officiating.  The Fischer Funeral Home in Warsaw is handling arrangements.  www.fischerfuneralhome.com
