COSHOCTON – Earl D. “Bill” McCloy, 74, of Coshocton passed away Tuesday, August 22, 2017 at Genesis Hospital in Zanesville.

Bill was born in Taylor County, West Virginia on January 26, 1943 to the late Guy J. and Lena R. (Gobel) McCloy.

He is survived by his wife Mary (Kroeplin) McCloy whom he married May 21, 1966; two sons Earl D. “PeeWee” (Debbie) McCloy of Schofield, WI and James W. “Jimbo” (Kelly) McCloy of Bradenton, FL; four daughters, Florence (Jeff) Drushal of Port St. Lucie, FL, Lena (Tim Mobley) McCloy of Coshocton, Audra (Brian Lapp) Hammond of Coshocton and Gloriann Hardman of Coshocton; eighteen grandchildren Erin (Jason) Phillips, Amanda and Brandon McCloy, Tania (Derek) Schonauer, Dawn (Colton Landis) McCloy, Jennifer, Jeremy, Justin Drushal, Breelle Spaulding, Richey Hammond, Serenity, Bryella, Royce and Kendrith “Oh Baby” Lapp, Douglas Hardman, Michael Bryant, James and Nathanial Harwell; sixteen great grandchildren; brother Howard “Jack” McCloy of Coshocton; two sisters Carolyn Bennett of Orwell, OH and Rosemary Grandstaff of Dresden; several nieces and nephews; sister in law Marjorie McCloy of Coshocton and a special canine companion Penny Sue.

Along with his parents, he is preceded in death by his brothers Bobby L. McCloy, Franklin “Bud” McCloy, Guy John McCloy and Norman “Jim” McCloy; sisters Clara (Jim) Groves, Marslene “Tootie” Gobel, Evelyn (Bill) Moats, Mary M. McCloy and Betty A. McCloy; sister in law Mary McCloy; brothers in law Robert Grandstaff and Robert Bennett.

Bill’s family is having an open house celebration of his life at their home located at 1703 Adams St., Coshocton from 4:00 PM – 7:00 PM Thursday August 24, 2017, family and friends are welcome to attend.
