Easter Egg Hunt held in West Lafayette
WEST LAFAYETTE – Chief Klopfenstein of the West Lafayette Police Department welcomed a large crowd of adults and excited children to the first Easter Egg Hunt held at Burt Park on Saturday, April 8. Children were split into two age groups (2-5, 6-10) and turned loose in taped off areas of the park to search for eggs. Gold eggs were worth special prizes at the end of the hunt and each child received a ticket for a drawing to be held at the end of the event. Two prizes (one boy, one girl) were given by drawing those tickets. Pictured are Oona Lawson, 2 and her sister, Ella, 4, who attended the event with their mom, Lana Lawson and grandmother, Shea Bieber.
