Evart “Red” Caddell

He was born in Harlan County, KY on December 25, 1926 to the late Stewart and Mary Caddell.

He served in the United States Army from 1945 – 1946. He worked at Peabody Coal Company for 33 years before retiring. After retirement he enjoyed gardening, collecting rare coins and knives, and spending time with his family.

Evart is survived by his wife Faye (Saylor) Caddell whom he married June 15, 1955; daughter Vicki (Tim) Cognion of Coshocton; three grandchildren, Jessica Hamilton of Nashport, Brandon Hamilton of Zanesville, and Tanner Cognion of Columbus.

Along with his parents he is preceded in death by ten brothers and one sister.

Friends may call at The Miller Funeral Home 639 Main St., Coshocton on Monday May 11, 2015 from 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM where funeral services will begin at 1:00 PM with Pastor Scott Repko officiating. Interment will follow at South Lawn Cemetery where Coshocton County Veterans Honor Guard will perform military honors.
