Garnett (Gress) Cox

Garnett (Gress) Cox, 87, of Tyndall passed away Thursday November 18, 2021 at her home.  She was born in Adamsville, OH on October 2, 1934 to the late George and Doris (Richard) Gress.

Garnett loved being home in Tyndall and spending time with her children and grandchildren.  She and her late husband Beryl would have family dinners many nights a week, just to have all the kids in their home to spend time together.

Garnett is survived by her children Beryl “B.D.” (Amanda) Cox II and Desiree (Dave) Moore both of Coshocton; grandchildren Ian (Taylor), Zack (Darcie), and Jake Moore, Cody (Jennifer) Cox, Allison (Frank Smotherman) Cox and Chyann Page; seven great grandchildren; siblings Louise Wiggins and John Gress; several nieces and nephews.

Along with her parents she is preceded in death by her husband of 62 years Beryl Dean Cox who passed away in July of this year; siblings George Gress Jr., Violet Eberwine, Bertha Green, and Martha Williams.

Friends may call at the Miller Funeral Home, 639 Main Street, Coshocton, Ohio 43812 on Monday from 12:00am – 1:00pm with funeral services beginning at 1:00pm with Pastor Mike Jansen officiating.  Burial will follow at Franklin Cemetery.
