Gary E. Dutro

Gary E. Dutro, 73, of Adamsville, passed away on Wednesday, June 23, 2022 at Genesis Hospital in Zanesville. He was born on March 29, 1949 in Zanesville to the late Harry and Faye (Black) Dutro. He was a United States Army Veteran, having served in the Vietnam War. He worked at Edmont Manufacturing Company until his retirement. On May 21, 1988, he married Wanda (Asire) Dutro, who survives. Gary was a loving husband and loved Wanda very much. He also had a love for mustangs, he enjoyed riding them and collecting memorabilia. He once owned racing grey hounds and now has a special Shih Tzu.

Along with his wife, Gary is survived by his daughter, Shannon (Tim) Curtis and step children, Roger (Shelia) Thomas Jr. and Tessa Thomas and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren as well as a sister-in-law, Jane Dutro.

Gary is preceded in death by his brothers, Delmar Dutro and Larry Dutro, along with Larry’s wife.

Calling hours will be at the Miller Funeral Home on Tuesday, June 28, 2022 from 11am to 1pm. The funeral service will begin at the funeral home on Tuesday at 1pm with Pastor Mark Granger officiating. Burial will follow at Coshocton County Memory Garden with the Veterans Honor Guard performing Military Honors.
