Genesis holding COVID-19 Moderna vaccine booster clinics

Genesis HealthCare System is holding COVID-19 Moderna vaccine booster clinics. The clinics are only for those getting the Moderna booster shot. Appointments are required and should be scheduled online at genesishcs.org/vaccine.

To qualify for the booster, you must have completed the second dose of either the Moderna or Pfizer vaccine at least six months ago or the single dose of Johnson & Johnson at least two months ago and meet one of the requirements below: 65 years of age or older; 18-64 years old with underlying medical conditions that put you at high risk for severe COVID-19 illness such as cancer, heart disease, diabetes, COPD, asthma, etc.; 18 years and older who live in institutional settings; Frontline worker 18 years and older whose occupation increases their exposure to the COVID-19 virus, such as healthcare workers, teachers/school staff members, grocery store/food processing workers

Genesis will give COVID-19 Moderna boosters at the Genesis COVID-19 Vaccination Center, Colony Square Mall, Zanesville (formerly Elder Beerman) on the following dates and times: Nov. 11 from 8:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Nov. 12 from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m.

No first or second doses of Moderna will be administered at any of these clinics. Please be prepared to show your vaccination status at the time of your booster. Use MyChart for quick and easy access to your vaccination status. If you do not use MyChart, you can use your vaccination card.
