Ginger A. Moats

Ginger A. Moats, 55, of Coshocton, passed away at Genesis Morrison House Hospice in Zanesville on Tuesday August 25, 2015.

Ginger was born in Coshocton on June 1, 1960 to James H. and Barbara L. (Barker) Cooper. She graduated from Coshocton High School, class of 1978. Ginger had worked sixteen years for Dairy Mart in Coshocton and Genie Garage Door Company in Baltic for ten years. She was a member of Central Christian Church. Ginger loved the outdoors, was an adventurous free spirit enjoying bird watching, fishing, camping and had a passion for reading and doing puzzles.

She is survived by her husband Lester L. Moats Jr., whom she married October 9, 1977; a daughter Jennifer (Eric) Campbell of Zanesville; her mother Barbara L. Cooper of Coshocton; two grandchildren Gabrielle and Ayrika; two brothers Kevin Cooper of Coshocton and Keith (Teresa) Cooper of Canton; several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.

Ginger is preceded in death by her father James H. Cooper and a brother Kim Alan Cooper.

Friends may call at The Miller Funeral Home, 639 Main St., Coshocton on Friday August 28, 2015 from 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM where funeral services will begin at 1:00 PM with Rev. Philip Hunt officiating. Interment will follow in South Lawn Cemetery.
