COSHOCTON – The Roscoe Village Foundation would like to announce the honorary candlelighter for the first Christmas Candlelighting Ceremony on Dec. 2 and the 2017 Roscoe Village Christmas tree donor.

The honorary candlelighter is the 2017 Coshocton Canal Queen, Maddy Meiser. Maddy is the daughter of Tony and Amanda Meiser and is a sophomore at Coshocton High School. During the candlelighting ceremony, Maddy will light her candle from the candle on the main stage, and then pass the flame to a member of the audience. As the candlelighting spreads, the village Christmas tree will be lit as everyone joins in the singing of “Silent Night”.

This year’s village Christmas tree was donated by The Coshocton County Fairboard. The Roscoe Village Foundation would like to express their appreciation for the support from The Coshocton County Fairboard.
