COSHOCTON – January is preschool month at the Johnson-Humrickhouse Museum. Children 2 – 5 years and their guardians are invited Thursday mornings from 10 – 10:40 a.m. for “Around the World in Four Weeks”. Through books, music, art and artifacts, they’ll visit Mexico, Kenya, India and China. Each week we’ll be painting a landscape inspired by a Chinese scroll.

Parents and children are welcome to explore the museum on their own for the remaining hour. “Around the World in Four Weeks” is free, thanks to the support of the Coshocton Kiwanis Foundation. For more information or to make reservations, which are appreciated, contact the museum at 740-622-8710 or email jhmuseum@jhmuseum.org.

The Johnson-Humrickhouse Museum is located in Historic Roscoe Village, a restored canal-era town sited along the former Ohio & Erie Canal, at 300 N. Whitewoman Street, Coshocton. Museum hours in January are Noon-4 p.m. Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.
