Jill McFarland Klocek

Jill McFarland Klocek, 57, died on Thursday, Oct. 14, 2021, at the Salem Regional Medical Center.

She was born to John and Lillian Nadine (Butler) McFarland in Cooperdale in 1964. She graduated from River View High School in 1982 and was also a graduate of Bowling Green University in 1986, and then obtained her Master’s Degree from the University of Virginia. She also graduated from the Ohio State Wooster Agricultural School.

Jill married her husband Gregory Klocek, who survives, 17 years ago, and together they owned and operated a Rita’s Italian Ice store for 12 years. She also worked as an Athletic Trainer and was an educator in New Jersey, River View High School, and Southern Local Schools. She was a member of the Presbyterian Church in Coshocton.

Preceding her in death were her father John, mother Lillian, brother Joel, and baby sister Jennifer.

A funeral service will be held at the Fischer Funeral Home in Warsaw on Tuesday, Oct. 19, at 3 p.m. Visitation will be from 2 p.m. until service time. Interment will take place at Valley View Cemetery at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 20.
