Joseph R. Harstine, 58, passed away at his residence on Wednesday, July 18, 2018.

He was the son of Arthur and Jean (Bender) Harstine and was born July 14, 1960, in Coshocton.  They both preceded him in death along with his brother, James Harstine.

Surviving are his wife of nearly 38 years, Julia (Williams) Harstine, son, Russell (Karri) Harstine and daughter, Rebecca, both of Coshocton, grandchildren, Xander, Nora, Rowan, and Ryker, sister, Janet Couts of Newcomerstown, brothers Rodney (Connie) and Robert (Deanna) Harstine both of Warsaw, sister-in-law, Janet Harstine of Warsaw, several nieces, nephews, cousins, one uncle, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law and friends.

Joe graduated from River View High School in 1977.  He was employed at Express Packaging of Newcomerstown.  He was a country boy at heart who enjoyed mushroom hunting, fishing and the outdoors.

No services are being held. The Fischer Funeral Home in Warsaw is handling arrangements.

A celebration of Joe’s life will take place at a later date.
