COSHOCTON – Joshua D. Burris, 37, of Coshocton passed away at Coshocton County Regional Medical Center on Wednesday March 6, 2019.

Josh was born in Coshocton on March 23, 1981.

He loved collecting gemstones, prospecting for gemstones, fishing and studying the weather.  Josh was well known for his green thumb enjoying planting flowers and vegetables.

Josh is survived by his mother Leora (Michael) Stimpert of Coshocton; father Thomas D. “Tom” (Tammy) Burris of Coshocton; siblings Jeremy Bradford of Coshocton, Jordan (Katie) Burris of Canal Fulton, Sarah Stimpert of Coshocton, Jayson, Josh, Cody Stimpert all of Columbus, Rosetta Dickerson and Jacqulyn (Corey) Dailey both of Coshocton and Hugh Cornelius of Lima; cousins Alexis and Shane Bradford of Coshocton; grandpa Logan (Jean) Burris Jr. of Coshocton; numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.

He is preceded in death by his grandparents Ed and Jeannine Bradford, Leo and Janice Linebaugh, Rev. Vernon and Norma Stimpert; one uncle Charles Bradford.

Friends may call at The Miller Funeral Home on Tuesday March 12, 2019 from 4:00 PM – 6:00 PM where a funeral service will begin at 6:00 PM with Mark Granger.  A cremation will take place after the funeral service.

Memorial contributions may be directed to the funeral home to help defray funeral expenses, envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
