Joyce Ann Scott

Joyce Ann Scott, 74, of Coshocton passed away at her home on Wednesday September 12, 2012.  Joyce was born on April 28, 1938 to the late James A. Wright and Mae (Hall) Hughes in Tyndall.  She attended Coshocton High School, later she was so proud to complete her G.E.D..  Joyce had worked in the meat department at Buehlers and Bakers Foods in Coshocton.  She loved spending time with her family, especially numerous trips to Myrtle Beach.  She is survived by her loving husband Thomas R. “Tom” Scott whom she married May 17, 1959; devoted children Sherri (James Holiday) Scott of Cambridge, Terri (James) Richesson of Coshocton and Mark (Julie Kaser) Scott of Coshocton; four grandchildren Nikki, Justin, Matthew and Zachary; one great grandchild Rylee; two brothers James Wright of Cleveland and Chuck (Mary) Hughes of Plainfield; three sisters Connie Wolfe, Charlotte (Jim) Day and Kathy (John) Powell all of Coshocton; several nieces and nephews.  Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her brother Gary Wright.  A memorial service will be held on Monday September 17, 2012 at 1:00 PM at Prairie Chapel United Methodist Church, 45494 CR 23, Coshocton with Pastor Dail Parrish officiating.  Interment will be held in Coshocton County Memory Gardens at a later date.  Memorial contributions may be directed to the American Cancer Society, envelopes will be available at the church.  The Miller Funeral Home, Coshocton is serving the family.  An online memorial is located at www.themillerfuneralhome.com .
