| January 25, 2018

ZANESVILLE – On Wednesday, Jan. 24, on the Zanesville campus of Ohio University, the Coalition of Rural and Appalachian Schools (CORAS) recognized teachers across the Appalachian region of Ohio with the 2018 Outstanding Teacher Award.

River View Local School District superintendent, Mr. Dalton Summers, is proud to announce that Mrs. Dawn Justice was a recipient of this award. Justice is a 5th and 6th grade teacher at Warsaw Elementary School. Justice has taught science at Warsaw for the past 20 years. Each day Justice instills a genuine love and interest in the field of science, which is greatly needed.

Teachers inspire dreams, shape lives and give us hope for the future. During the time of incredible challenges to the teaching profession, we don’t take time to acknowledge many of our best and most talented teachers. Justice has distinguished herself as a professional who gives of her time and talent to support and educate the students of River View Local Schools.

The Coalition of Rural and Appalachian Schools (CORAS) has a 28 year tradition of advocating and supporting public schools in our region. We appreciate CORAS for recognizing outstanding teachers in this way to support public education.
