Ku Sun “Sandy” Leiendecker

Ku Sun “Sandy” Leiendecker, 77, of Fresno, passed away on Wednesday, Nov. 3, 2021. She was born on June 6, 1944, in Yong In, Korea to the late Chong Ku Young and Kim Ok (Soon) Young.

Sandy was a nurses aid for several years and then worked for Longaberger Co. before retiring. On Aug. 18, 1971, she married Marcus Leiendecker who survives.

She loved being outdoors and enjoyed gardening, planting flowers, fishing, cooking, bowling and traveling with her family.

Sandy is survived by her husband Marcus of 51 years, her daughter, In Ja Song of Coshocton; two grandchildren, Isaac (Kaylee) Song and Ann (Patrick) Carroll; four great-grandchildren with one on the way; brother Chong Tu Hawa; one brother and two sisters in Korea.

Calling hours will be held on Monday, Nov. 8, 2021, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Given-Dawson-Paisley Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow at the funeral home at 1 p.m. with Evangelist Lloyd Tenney officiating. Burial will be held at Fairview Cemetery in Fresno.
