HillegassTIVERTON  –  Larry Guy Hillegass, Jr., 38, of CR 20, died March 12, 2014 at his residence.

He was born Aug. 22, 1975 in Cleveland to Larry Guy Hillegass, Sr. and Theresa (Mozer) Hillegass.

Larry worked at the Briar Hill Stone Co. at Glenmont, he was a true “workaholic.”  He loved carving things out of sandstone.  He enjoyed hiking, the outdoors, camping, the waterfalls at Honey Run, 4-wheeling, western shows, playing euchre, and wolves.

He is survived by his wife, Tammy (Frazee) Hillegass, whom he married Sept. 29, 1995.  Also surviving are two sons; Braxton Guy Hillegass and Austin Larry Hillegass of Tiverton.  A step daughter, Brittany Nicole (Justin) Weinstock of Tiverton.  A step son, Ricky Lee Mosier of Mount Vernon.  His mother and step father, Theresa (Robert) Moore of Grafton.  Father and step mother, Larry Guy (Kimberly) Hillegass, Sr. of Texas.  A sister, Linda (Archie) Ocheltree of Elyria.  A brother, Johnny (Rochelle) Hillegass of Elyria.  A half sister, Charlotte Hillegass of Texas.  Two step sisters; Courtney of Texas and Michelle Moore of Virginia Beach, VA.  Grandparents, Ed & Wilda “Kate” Hillegass of Tiverton, and several aunts, uncles, nieces, & nephews.

Funeral services will be held Monday, March 17, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. at the Fischer Funeral Home in Warsaw with Pastor Tim Mayo of the Midview Baptist Church of Grafton officiating.  Burial will be in the Tiverton Cemetery.  Visitation is two hours prior to the service on Monday.
