NOTICE OF ELECTION ON TAX LEVY IN
EXCESS OF THE TEN MILL LIMITATION

Notice is hereby given that in pursuance of a Resolution of the Board of Township Trustee of the Adams Township of Coshocton County, Ohio passed on the 1st day of August, 2016, there will be submitted to a vote of the people at the General Election to be held at the regular places of voting on Tuesday, the 08th day of November, 2016, the question of levying a tax, in excess of the ten mill limitation, for the benefit of Adams Township for the purpose of operation expenses for the volunteer fire department. Tax being a renewal of an existing tax of 2.5 mills at a rate not exceeding 2.5 mills for each one dollar of valuation, which amounts to $0.25 for each one hundred dollars of valuation, for 5 years. The polls for the election will open at 6:30 a.m. and remain open until 7:30 p.m. on election day.
