NOTICE OF ELECTION ON TAX LEVY IN
EXCESS OF THE TEN MILL LIMITATION

Notice is hereby given that in pursuance of a Resolution of the Board of Township Trustee of the Jefferson Township of Coshocton County, Ohio passed on the 3rd day of August, 2016, there will be submitted to a vote of the people at the General Election to be held at the regular places of voting on Tuesday, the 08th day of November, 2016, the question of levying a tax, in excess of the ten mill limitation, for the benefit of Jefferson Township for the purpose of road improvements for general construction, reconstruction, resurfacing, and repairs of streets, roads and bridges. Tax being a renewal of an existing tax of 1.5 mills at a rate not exceeding 1.5 mills for each one dollar of valuation, which amounts to $0.15 for each one hundred dollars of valuation, for 3 years. The polls for the election will open at 6:30 a.m. and remain open until 7:30 p.m. on election day.
