Linda Worthing PictureLinda K. Worthington, 66, of Conesville passed away on Saturday October 31, 2015 at her home with her family by her side after a courageous battle with cancer. Linda was born in Coshocton on December 8, 1948 to the late Clinton P. and Nellie F. (Parks) Jones Touvell. She was a homemaker throughout her life; she loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. Linda was a member of the Conesville Fire Department Ladies Auxillary and enjoyed making wood crafts, baking and being a nurse’s aid at Signature Health Care. Linda is survived by loving husband George E. Worthington whom she married June 18, 1965; two devoted children Alan (Christine) Worthington of West Lafayette and Shelly (Jeremy) Wade of Conesville; two caring grandchildren Hannah (Michael Moore) Worthington and Jarred Wade; five brothers and sisters Emmett Vearl (Marjorie) Parks of Lynchburg, VA, Eugene (Margaret) Jones of Coshocton, Eunice (Bob) Devol of Lancaster, Kathryn Erman of Conesville and Betty Ann (Richard) Baumgardner of Coshocton; several nieces and nephews. Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her brothers William P. Jones and James Jones; sister Leta Jones; sister in law Nancy Jones and brother in law James Erman. Friends may call at The Miller Funeral Home, 639 Main St., Coshocton on Tuesday November 3, 2015 from 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM and one hour prior to the service on Wednesday. Funeral services will be held at the funeral home on Wednesday at 11:00 AM with Pastor Bill Jones officiating. Interment will follow in Franklin Township Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be directed to Health Services of Coshocton County “Hospice” and/or Coshocton County Handicap Society; envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
