Linda Sue Almack

Linda Sue Almack, 61, of Coshocton passed away at 4:00 P.M., Friday, August 29, 2014 at her home in Coshocton following a three year battle with cancer.

Born December 7, 1952 in Coshocton, she was the daughter of the late Leslie Eugene and Reba Virginia (Landis) Shingleton.

Linda loved stock car racing, sewing, crocheting and was known as a music box collector.  She had been a member of the Coshocton Ladies of the Moose Lodge.

Linda will truly be missed by her devoted companion of seven years Harold “Ray” Aronhalt, and his family Kristie and Steve Aronhalt and their children Stevie, Austin and Ashley; three brothers Gene (Rusty) Shingleton of Coshocton, Kenny Shingleton of South Carolina, Robert (Bernadette)  Shingleton of Texas; two sisters Ruth Walker of Oregon, Norma Shingleton of West Lafayette; several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins; and her wonderful dog Harley.

In addition to her parents and husband Harold Almack who died in 2007, Linda was preceded in death by an infant son, four brothers James, William John, and Roy Shingleton.

Calling hours will be held from 6:00 to 7:00 P.M., Wednesday,  September 3, 2014 at the Free Funeral Home in Coshocton followed by a Service of Remembrance at 7:00 P.M. with Pastor Dail Parrish officiating.  Interment of the Cremains of  Harold and Linda Almack will be in Prairie Chapel Cemetery at a later date.
