Local Bounty update

| October 29, 2015

We are gearing up for winter with soups, meats and your favorite LOCAL treats. Stop by and see why LOCAL is better, Thursday and Friday 10-6, Sat. 9-1.

Vendor Updates

New Vendor – 3G’s

All our vegetables and herbs all grown in Aeroponic towers. This week I have Boston Bibb lettuce, onion greens, bright lights hot peppers, plenty of herbs which include; compact basil, sweet Italian basil, purple globe basil, Thyme, chives, sage, purple Sage, Russian tarragon and mint. There is nothing better than cooking with fresh herbs, so why not come in and get some! You won’t be sorry.

Flying Pig Farm

This week we are working Friday 2-6. We only have a couple dozen eggs so we’ll wait until Fri to bring them in. Then the late Fri/Sat shoppers will have a shot at getting some eggs! Lol It’s soup weather. Don’t forget our easy mixes. We’ve been told the Chili is spicy! Some people like hot, if you don’t just add 1/2 the spice packet to the mix to tame the heat. Have a safe Halloween!

Hillbippie

I am getting alot of practice at the wheel lately and it is paying off!! I will have honey pots and garlic grater plates in the store today, check facebook for pictures! Mullet Apiaries honey would be lovely stored in my dishwasher/microwave safe honey pot. The garlic plates have a rough center to grate your garlic, add olive oil and spices and you are ready to dip!!  Since I will be bringing new products in, my old products must go. I’m having Halloween sale, starting Friday!! Check the bottom of my pots for a discounted price 🙂 As always, Peace and Thank you.

Strawberry Hill Farm

Despite chilly nights, some of our garden rows are still producing. This week at Local Bounty we have more kale, romaine lettuce, cilantro, and a bit of arugula. And we’ve stocked more free-range eggs and strawberry jam. Here’s to fall!
