Vendor Updates

Bob’s Pickle Patch/ Verda’s Hens

The tall sunflowers are putting on a show in our garden this month. What will we do with them in the fall?  Feed them to the chickens of course!

This week at Local Bounty, we have eggs, beets, and garlic.

The beets from Bob’s Pickle Patch (#12) will be special priced at $1 off each package until they are gone.

Thanks for shopping at Local Bounty.

The McGraws

Epic Delights Bakery

We will be stocking our shelves on Tuesday morning with fresh white bread, cinnamon rolls, black raspberry rolls and black raspberry cheesecake. Our black raspberry rolls are similar to our strawberry rolls but have a raspberry filling instead of strawberry. They are delicious! Fall is our family’s favorite season and since it is just around the corner, we will soon be making pumpkin baked goods and one of our customers’ favorite – pumpkin bread!

Flying Pig Farm

We’ve all enjoyed the cooler weather this week! Our cows are out grazing fresh pasture and our chickens are having fun chasing bugs around the barnyard. We’ve even done some jam making, canning and baking. It’s nice when the kitchen isn’t 95°+! Check out our jams and jellies at the store. We also encourage you to try our grass fed beef! The health benefits are comparable to Texas Longhorn beef. Find it in the right hand side of Young Farm’s freezer. If you have any questions contact us at www.Facebook.com/OhioFlyingPigFarm.

Windy Hill Farm

What do you do when you live out in the country, it’s 6 p.m., and you have just started baking before you realize you are short two cups of flour and the Amish bulk food store near your house closed at 5 p.m.? You put everything on hold until the next day! Sorry, but our Cantalope-Praline bread, which was such a hit last week, won’t be at the store until Wednesday. However, we will have our White Trash snack mix restocked Tuesday morning. Thanks for your patience and for choosing to shop local. We appreciate you!

As always thank you for your support!
