Class: Cooking with essential oils with Brenda Berry  ( Health Coach ) April 26th at 6:00pm

When I became a health coach I knew I wanted to include essential oils in my own life and to encourage their health supporting qualities in the lives of my clients. In my coaching class series, Eating and Living for Health, I introduce some basic oils and their uses. With this ‘Cooking with Essential Oils’ class at Local Bounty I’d like to expand that knowledge and use into the kitchen. I’ll show you how to use essential oils in a refreshing drink, salad, soup and dessert, all delicious and healthful! Join me the evening of April 26th at Local Bounty to expand your culinary horizon and enjoy some awesome flavors!

Flying Pig Farm

Well spring has definitely arrived at our farm! Our seedlings are growing well in the greenhouse. We anticipate bringing some in to the store soon. It’s not too late to place an order! Just ask for an order form at the store. In other farm news we have baby Guinea fowl in our brooder. Our adults met an untimely end with the mink we’ve been seeing this winter. They do make great “guard dogs” for our other chickens. We also picked up a couple baby pigs to raise for our own use. Needless to say, our 3 year old is one busy girl! We’ll be helping at Earth Day so stop by and say hello!

Bob’s Pickle Patch/ Verda’s Hens

We will be bringing more eggs on Thursday this week.  Our new Easter egger pullets are laying lots of small blue and green eggs now, so we will bring in some of those.  Always a favorite with grand kids. Thanks for your business.  We appreciate our loyal customers.

We’ve got a *huge* selection of pork cuts available at Local Bounty right now. Whether you’re in the mood for brats (beer, cheese, Italian, fresh or Cajun) or pork chops (marinated or naked) – we’ve got you covered. There is a new product available this week, a maple sausage patty. They’re soooo good cooked up for breakfast and dipped into a fried egg. Thank you so much for your continued support. It really does mean the world to us.
