Lunch with mom and dad

| October 28, 2013

KEENE – Keene Elementary held a parents’ luncheon Oct. 24 and 25. Mackenzie Herder enjoyed lunch Oct. 25 with her mom and dad, Clara and Carl Berkshire.

“It’s nice to be able to sit down with her and have lunch and see the school,” Clara said.

Matt Colvin, principal at Keene, said the luncheon is a way to bring the parents into the school and not take away from classroom time.

The Berkshires are both glad they decided to send their second grader to Keene.

“The education she is getting here is very good,” Carl said. “She gets a lot of one on one time.”
