Madeline R. Yazell

WEST LAFAYETTE – Madeline R. Yazell, 89, of West Lafayette passed away at her home on Tuesday October 10, 2017.

Madeline was born in Lincoln County, West Virginia on March 1, 1928 to the late John W. and Ella (Cooper) Adkins.

She treasured being a wife and mother throughout her life and was a member of the Victory Assembly of God in Newcomerstown.

Madeline is survived by her husband of seventy years Hobert W. Yazell whom she married May 10, 1947; three children Diana Cummins of Austin, TX, Debra Chambers of Columbus, OH and Gary (Helen) Yazell of Barboursville, WV; nine grandchildren John (Pam) Cummins Jr., Chad Cummins, Andrea (Tom) Hash, Amber Snyder, Tiffany Ingerham, Destiny (Jeff) Crespo, Jason (Carrie) Yazell, Anthony Yazell and Shannon (Joseph) Stephens; fourteen great grandchildren; one great great grandson; brother Bill (Ruth) Adkins of Port Washington; three sisters Anna James of Coshocton, Linda (James) Regula-Warren of Zanesville and Carolyn (Floyd) Everhart of Zanesville; numerous nieces and nephews.

Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her siblings Roy, Betty, Bobby and Annie.

Friends may call at The Miller Funeral Home, 639 Main St., Coshocton on Monday October 16, 2017 from 2:00 PM -3:00 PM where a funeral service for Madeline will begin at 3:00 PM with Pastor Brent Heishman officiating.  Interment will follow in Coshocton County Memorial Gardens.  An online memorial is located at www.themillerfuneralhome.com .
