Man arrested after striking EMS vehicle

On June 9, 2020 at approximately 12:30 a.m. dispatch received a 911 call of a vehicle traveling at a high rate of speed and had struck an EMS vehicle.

The suspect vehicle was located traveling east bound on Chestnut Street in the area of 15th Street. Deputies attempted a traffic stop on the vehicle but the vehicle continued east bound on Chestnut Street. The vehicle made a u-turn in the area of North White Woman Street. Where it came to a stop by striking a cruiser. Minor property damage was sustained by both vehicles. There were no injuries.

The driver of the vehicle was identified as Michael Hardesty. Hardesty was arrested and transported to the Coshocton County Sheriff’s Office.
