Marion Hall (Schickli) Phillips

Marion Hall (Schickli) Phillips, 88, of Coshocton, passed away on Saturday, August 10, 2019.

Marion was born in Louisville, KY on July 22, 1931 to the late Edward Jacob and Emily Jean (Hall) Schickli. Marion worked for many years at the Johnson-Humrickhouse Museum in Roscoe Village. She was a member of the Presbyterian Church and Jr. Women’s Club. Marion married Rodney Charles Phillips in September of 1950, and he preceded her in death in December of 2003.

Marion is survived by her two daughters, Deborah (James) Corder and Rami (Edward) Sawyer, two grandchildren, James P. Corder and Christopher A. Corder, three great-grandchildren, Elliot, Lincoln, and Maverick, and her brother, Edward Jacob Schickli II.

Per Marion’s wishes, a cremation will take place with a private burial at a later date. Given-Dawson-Paisley Funeral Home is assisting the family.

The family requests that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to Coshocton Community Hospice, 230 S. 4th St. Coshocton, OH 43812 or to the Johnson-Humrickhouse Museum 300 N. Whitewoman St. Coshocton, OH 43812.
