Martha L. Dobbins

Martha Lee Dobbins, 79, of Coshocton, joined her beloved husband Don at 12:25 P.M., Wednesday, May 15, 2013 at the Lafayette Pointe Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in West Lafayette.

Born October 27, 1933 in Cumberland, Ohio, she was the daughter of the late Herbert Francis and Martha (Hickle) Cowgill.

A 1951 graduate of Cumberland High School, Martha married Donald G. Dobbins on April 11, 1953. A longtime member of First Baptist Church in Coshocton, Martha will be remembered for her cooking abilities – especially her homemade noodles.

Surviving are three sons Donald “Jeff” (Julie) Dobbins of West Lafayette, Mark L. (Shirley) Dobbins of Fresno, Tracy A. (Susan) Dobbins of Coshocton; eight grandchildren Mark and Josh Dobbins, Kevin and Kurt Hough, Kyle Dobbins, Casey Tackett, Nina Colvin, Jay West; three brothers John (Alice) Cowgill of Cambridge; Jack Cowgill of Houston, TX, Herbert E. (Donna) Cowgill of Zanesville; a sister Marion Nethers of Hopewell; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her husband and parents, Martha was preceded in death by a grandson Josh West, and two sisters Maxine Mead and June Geiger.

A graveside service will be held at 2:00 P.M., Tuesday, May 21, 2013 at Coshocton County Memory Gardens with Rev. Joseph Sanders officiating.
