Michael Hindel PictureCONESVILLE – Michael A. “Mike” Hindel, 60, of Conesville passed away at his home on Saturday January 23, 2016 after a courageous battle with cancer. Mike was born in Zanesville on February 25, 1955 to the late Robert “Bob” and W. Jean (Osborne) Hindel. He graduated from River View High School, class of 1973. He loved spending time with his family, hunting with his children, and cherished his time with his late wife Susan at their place on the river. Mike worked for ten years with the Railroad and twenty years for Franklin Township. He is survived by his children Angie Hindel of Coshocton, Britney (Tom) Soles of Conesville, Caleb (Heather) Hindel of Conesville, Draeson (Kendra) Hindel of Coshocton and Brandi Everhart of Coshocton; grandchildren Kaelie (Larry Vickers) Darr, Cody Darr, Kaitlyn Soles, Austin Hindel, Aleasha Soles, Kaylana Hare, Tradence Hare, Ruger Hindel and Dalton Hindel; sister Diane (Danny) Wiles of Dresden; mother in law mother Pauline “Polly” Pepper of Conesville; many beloved nieces and nephews and his special canine companion Tank. Along with his parents Mike is preceded in death by his beloved wife Susan N. (Pepper) Hindel whom passed away May 9, 2014 and his father in law father Kenneth Pepper. Friends may call at The Miller Funeral Home, 639 Main St., Coshocton on Friday January 29, 2016 from 5:00 PM – 8:00 PM and one hour prior to the service on Saturday. Funeral services for Mike will be held at the funeral home on Saturday at 2:00 PM with Pastor Bill Jones officiating. Following funeral services, a cremation will take place and burial of Mike’s cremated remains will take place at a later date. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be directed to Health Services of Coshocton County “Hospice”, envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
