Michael Kelton

Michael J. Kelton, 46, of Coshocton passed away on Friday October 5, 2012. 

Mike graduated from Cambridge High School in 1984 and served in the Army for six years as an M.P. and a veteran of Desert Storm and Desert Shield. He graduated from Ohio University Zanesville as a registered nurse; he also graduated from Trinity School of Natural Health and was a Naturopathic Doctor.  He was an Advanced EMT working with Coshocton County EMS from 1993-1998, a lifetime member of V.F.W. and was in the 2011 class of Leadership Coshocton. 

Mike was currently working as an RN at Select Specialty Hospital in Zanesville. Mike and his wife Tracy are also the owners and operators of Muscle Menders Wellness Center, Scrubs and More and Coshocton Laboratory International. 

He was an avid Boy Scout and received their highest rank of Eagle Scout and was chosen as an Order of the Arrow.  He loved his profession and was a very caring and compassionate husband and father. 

He is survived by his wife of twenty years Tracy Kelton; children Ian Michael Kelton and Morgaan Chloe Kelton of the home; father Phillip (Ellen) Kelton of Zanesville; brothers Patrick (Jane) Kelton of Salem, OH and Jim (Betsy) Kelton of Liberty Hill, TX; mother in law Carole (Clark) Smith of Coshocton. 

 Mike was preceded in death his mother Doris Woods Kelton.

Friends may call at The Miller Funeral Home, 639 Main St., Coshocton on Tuesday October 9, 2012 from 4:00 – 6:00 PM where memorial services will begin at 6:00 PM with Pastor Mary Molnar officiating.  Coshocton County Veterans Council will also be performing military honors. 

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed to The Kelton Children’s Scholarship Fund, C/O Century National Bank, 100 Downtowner Plaza, Coshocton, Ohio  43812, envelopes will be available at the funeral home.  An online memorial is located at www.themillerfuneralhome.com .
