Lemmons obitDANVILLE- Michael Lowell Lemmons, 74, of Flat Run Rd., died Monday, Jan. 26, 2015 at his residence.

He was born May 15, 1940 in Coshocton Co. to the late Otis and Dorothy Ellen (McVey) Lemmons. He was a 1957 graduate of Warsaw High School.  He was a lifelong farmer, raising corn, soybeans, and cattle.

He treasured so many friendships he had formed through the years.

He enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren, and watching them play sports. He loved his Ohio State Buckeyes, Cleveland Indians, Cavaliers, and Browns.  He was a member of the Millwood Church of Christ.

He is survived by his wife of 47 years, Sylvia (Barnes) Lemmons of Danville, whom he married July 1, 1967, two daughters; Kimberly (David) Hawk and Michelle (Mike) Neitzelt, both of Danville, nine grandchildren; Nicholas, Kyle, Lauryn, & Ethan Hawk, Brant, Madisyn, Logan, Mykenzie, & Zoey Neitzelt, all of Danville, two brothers-in-law; Gary Dolick and Stanton Barnes, a sister-in-law, Chris Herbert, and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Judy Dolick.

Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 29, 2015 at the Millwood Church of Christ with Jason Postle & Dave Jones officiating.  Burial will follow in New Castle Cemetery in Coshocton County.  Calling hours will be held at the FISCHER FUNERAL HOME in Danville on Wednesday, Jan. 28th from 2-4 & 6-8 p.m.
