Middle school swimmers wrapping up season

| March 27, 2019

COSHOCTON – Head Coach Cari Weaver is happy with what she’s seeing from the Coshocton Middle School swim team. “We are halfway through the season and they are doing great,” she said. “It’s a fun group. They love to come to practice and they do a good job of cheering each other on.” This is the second year for the middle school swim team, which includes 16 students from fifth through eighth grade. Helping Weaver coach are Michael McKee, Emily Casey and Hannah Nelson. The team will wrap up its season with meets at 6 p.m. Friday, April 5 and Friday, April 12 at the Muskingum Rec Center on the OU-Zanesville/Zane State campus.

I graduated from Coshocton High School in 1998 and received a Bachelor of Arts in Communication in 2002 from Walsh University. I also earned several awards while working for daily papers, including being honored by Coshocton County’s veterans for the stories I wrote about them. I am honored and ready to once again shine a positive light on Coshocton County. I also am the proud mother of a little girl named Sophia!
