Hagans001MT. VERNON– Nadine Hagans, 90, formerly of Teryl Dr. in Mt. Vernon, died Sunday July 28, 2013 at Emeritus at Hillen Vale .

She was born Sept. 20, 1922 in Coshocton to the late William Norman and Ethel Mary (McGrady) McCurdy.  She was a 1941 graduate of Warsaw High School.  She married Emmett J. Hagans on Jan. 2, 1942, who preceded her in death on March 2, 2006.  She was a member of Dutch Run Trinity United Church of Christ, and she loved and enjoyed her family greatly.

She is survived by three children; Vivian (Mike) Webb of Lewis Center, Jeffry Hagans of Marysville, and Vickie (Duane) Dugan of Apple Valley, six grandchildren, thirteen great-grandchildren, seven great-great-grandchildren, a dear friend, Janet Ashcraft of Mt. Vernon, and her special friends and neighbors, Howard & Louise Hite of Mt. Vernon.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday August 1, 2013 at the Fischer Funeral Home in Warsaw, with her grandsons Troy Dugan & Mike Hagans officiating.  Burial will follow in Valley View Cemetery.  Calling hours are from 6-8 p.m. on Wednesday at the funeral home.
