Nancy A. Bender

COSHOCTON – Nancy A. Bender, 70, of Coshocton passed away at her home in Coshocton on Monday November 12, 2018.

Nancy was born to the late Cleo and Alice (Wright) Brown on September 26, 1948 in Galion, Ohio.  She graduated from Lexington High School, worked at Rubbermaid in Wooster and The Longaberger Company.

Nancy was a 25 year member of the Keene Hill Grange, 4-H Advisor, Brownie Leader, Den Mother, member of the Keene United Methodist Church, was currently attending Wolf Creek Baptist Church, enjoyed cooking and cherished spending time with her family and friends.

She was married for 46 years to a wonderful husband Forrest E. “Gene” Bender; devoted children Scott (Amanda) Bender of Coshocton and Eugenia “Genia” (Chris) Long of Granville; nine grandchildren Nash (Arina) Bender, Dakota, Ethan and Destiny Bender, Kyra McWhorter, Allie Long, Kodi McWhorter, Caleb and Ezra Long; one great grandchild on the way; a sister Judy (Armond) Black of Shreve, OH; two brothers Barney and Larry Brown both of Tiro, OH; several nieces and nephews; she loved pets, especially her favorite cat “Smokey.”

Friends may call at The Miller Funeral Home, 639 Main St., Coshocton on Friday November 16, 2018 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and one hour prior to the funeral service on Saturday.  Funeral services for Nancy will be held at the funeral home on Saturday at 11:00 AM with Pastor Mike Rogers officiating.  Interment will follow in Coshocton County Memorial Gardens.
