Nathan Maple

Nathan Maple, 81, of Coshocton passed away at his home on Saturday September 20, 2014.

Nathan was born in Coshocton on October 23, 1932 to the late Jesse and Carrie (Freetage) Maple.

Nathan attended Plainfield High School and went on to work for Moore Enamel and Penn Michigan. He was a member of the American Legion and loved to listen to country and gospel music.

Nathan is survived by his two daughters Carrie (Tom Kirk) Fadley of Newark and Dianna Wascom of Mississippi; grandchildren Jennifer and Chad Hamilton; Great-grandchild Athan Hamilton; brothers William (Melody) Maple, Jesse (Cheryl) Maple, Sam (Linda) Maple, and Bernard (Faye) Maple; sister Myrtle (Bob) Hardy all of West Lafayette; Brother-in-law Avery Dotson of West Lafayette.

He is preceded in death by his wife, Carol (Bassett) Maple; Son Nathan Maple II; Daughters Connie Barrett and Doris Maple; Brother Dean Maple; and Sister Maxine Dotson.

Friends may call at The Miller Funeral Home 639 Main St., Coshocton on Tuesday September 23, 2014 from 10:00 AM – 11:00 AM where funeral services will begin at 11:00 AM with William Maple officiating. Interment will follow at Fairfield Cemetery, West Lafayette.
