| August 9, 2021

Nellie F. Lower, 88 of Bakersville, passed into the hands of our Lord on Saturday, July 31, 2021.

She was born in Plainfield, OH on February 16, 1933 to the late Frank and Mary (Bordenkicker) Robinson and married Edgar J. Lower on March 12, 1951.  They just celebrated their 70th Wedding Anniversary with a family and friends surprise party.

Together, Edgar and Nellie started the Bakersville Garage, a farm equipment dealership.  The past 30 years they have traveled to their winter home in Florida where she truly did enjoy singing in the Florida church choir and helping with their special events at Citrus Ridge Neighborhood each year.

Nellie was a life member of the Bakersville Community Church where she was heavily involved in their activities, Ladies Aid and Faith Followers Outreach. Also, she was a member of the Bakersville Quest Club.

Nellie made the chili for Bakersville Homecoming and her famous Potato Salad Dressing for the Bakersville Fire Department because she wanted to offer a helping hand. Nellie always was a caregiver of the Bakersville Community making cookies, pies and soup or donations to those in need.

Nellie will be sadly missed by her family and friends today and always.
