Operation Christmas Child project leader workshops scheduled

| July 19, 2017

COSHOCTON – Do you love packing shoeboxes for Operation Christmas Child? If so, you don’t want to miss the opportunity to attend one of the Operation Christmas Child project leader workshop on all things shoeboxes and Operation Christmas Child.

Learn about the impact of shoeboxes and the power of multiplication through The Greatest Journey discipleship program. Get ideas on how to plan and organize fundraising and packing events, how to increase the number and quality of shoeboxes, and find out about opportunities for year-round volunteers. We will also share about how to explore the resource web pages and introduce new resources for 2017. There will also be a time to share your ideas and brainstorm with others. Free resources will be available to share with your church or community. This will be an information packed workshop.

We encourage you to invite your friends who pack shoeboxes and anyone else who may be interested in becoming involved with Operation Christmas Child. There are two workshops scheduled in August, Bolivar United Methodist Church on Aug. 3 at 7 p.m, and Coshocton Christian Tabernacle on Aug. 15 at 7 p.m.
