Our Town Stories to discuss life-changing technologies

| February 1, 2018

COSHOCTON – “Life-Changing Technologies”, the next topic for the Johnson-Humrickhouse Museum’s Our Town Stories, will be Thursday, Feb. 8 at noon. Which life-changing technologies do you recall making a difference in your day-to-day routine? Many practical innovations over the past century revolutionized American lives, from automobiles and color TV, to the transition from manual typewriters to word processing computers. Come share your memories during this enjoyable and informative hour-long discussion.

JHM’s “Our Town Stories” gathering occurs monthly on the second Thursday of the month at noon. The conversation animates “the old days” as we conjure up memories, share personal stories, and recall Coshocton County as it once was. All are welcome to participate, whether you grew up in Coshocton or not. The atmosphere is casual and the discussion is always informative, fun and surprising. Admission for the program is free, and beverages and cookies will be provided. Bring your sandwich and make the most of your lunch break.

March’s topic is “Getting into Mischief.” For more information contact the Johnson-Humrickhouse Museum at 740-622-8710 or [email protected]. The Johnson-Humrickhouse Museum is located at 300 N. Whitewoman Street, Coshocton, OH 43812. The museum is open to the public Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, 12 – 4 p.m.
